Pens Waive Leclair
John Leclair has been waived by the Pittsburgh Penguins. He had been a healthy scratch lately. General manager Ray Shero met with him yesterday and they two had a "good talk." More as we have it....

He will have to clear waivers....if he does, he will be sent to Wilkes Barre Scranton. More than likely they did it to guage interest by other teams.
Johnny will never play in the AHL though, they can immediately recall him. At which point he would have to clear re-entry waivers and another team can claim him for only 900,000 and a fee of 3300. A lot less that the 1.8 mill cap hit he would be right now or in a trade.
